Different locations in sales order and production order using reservations

We are using reservation option when creating production order from sales order. Once we create the production order, the location to receive finished good must be the same as the location in sales order. However the customer wants to receive the finished good first in another location and transfer later to the final finished good location where it is shipped from. Can you suggest and solution?

You can use Transfer orders and stockkeeping units. Let's say sales order is for location SALES and production order needs to create finished goods in FINISHED. You need to create a stockkeeping unit to replenish location SALES using transfer orders from FINISHED and a stockkeeping unit to replenish location FINISHED using production orders.

The effect of this is that...
1) Sales order creates demand for SALES
2) This creates a Transfer Order from FINISHED to SALES
3) The Transfer Order creates a demand for FINISHED
4) This creates a production order for FINISHED
