The requested member does not exist

Hi,

I'm trying to use the Microsoft.Navision.Mail.dll v7.3 in a classic 5.1 client thru the cu400 smtp.

cu400 compiles. all works as expected on the development machine.

On the client machine i get an unexplained error.

Could not invoke the member AppendBody. The OLE control or Automation server returned the following message : The requested member does not exist , or the call tried to set the value of a read-only property.

stuff i tried to no avail:

- regasm /tlb:Microsoft.Navision.Mail.tbl /codebase Microsoft.Navision.Mail.dll
- unblock the dll in the dll file properties

All help getting to the bottom of this is greatly appriciated.

Have you copied and registered the dll on the client?

5.1 needs any referenced DLL to be locally installed.

execute Gacutil command from DOS, it will register the DLL in Assembly. probably it may resolve the case.
