Is it possible to make Phone Call from NAV 2016 Phone Client?

Hello all, i wonder is it possbile to call a number from phone client ? for example we enter customers mobile phone information, and when we click the phone number field or a button on the page in order to call the number ? Just we need to use the number in the field to dial it from Phones dialing platform.
Any ideas ?

in the dev enviroment, open the page, and set the extended data type to phone no? just a thought, don't know if this will work : )

It adds a Phone logo next to the field after choosed that option but nothing appears when i enter from Phone Client. Still i can not make it dial the number within the field. Any other ideas ?

Can you try to test a number with the international prefix: +4472345...?

No, just tried it. When i click the field, it just enters edit mode. Somehow it should be un editable or i dont know maybe underlined.

have you tried making your field editable = false?

i already tried it, it only adds a phone icon on desktop client, no thing happens on phone client. No indicator appears.

Hi,

If you install Skype on the machine it will use Skype to call.
If you really want to call, look at the To-Do in NAV, from there you can make a call by using normal phone.
Or go to contact card and from there create an interaction and select that you want to call.
This will start a dialler, and if phone is connected to the PC it will call the number.
