Copy User Personalizations

using NAV2016, is there any easy way to copy user personalization from one user to another? Looking specifically for column settings, navigation pane items, etc. I could have sworn there was a way in 2009R2, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I'm ok with building a tool to do it, but I'm not sure where the changes are stored. I believe they are in several different places and would need to grab all of them. Thanks in advance.

    aren't all user personalisations stored in 'user personalisation' table, I do believe you can export/import those

    Hi @aseigle,
    May I call it UI simplification. we can save, import export our profiles. Have a look on this article https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh879097(v=nav.90).aspx

    @rehansatti

    Thanks for your response. This was indeed the functionality I was referring to at an earlier version, but doesn't exactly solve my issue.

    I want the changes that are made to specific users profile to be copied from one user to another. for example, I have modified the Order Processor profile for some users to include some stuff, and others are different (I know I can create a new profile and assign it, but I want them all to be the same). I realize what I want doesn't exist, but trying to figure out a way to achieve it. It's exactly like copying a user's zup file in the old days. Thanks for your feedback though.

    Customize the profile and assign users to that profile. That's the way to go, then users can customize on top of that.
