Advanced Filter Fields

When in list view, selecting Advanced Filter, there is only one field, the first column, by default. Is there a way to permanently add additional blank filter fields, like ReqFilterFields in a report?

No, not possible - it would be a nice feature though.

Instead you could consider adding the fields to the list so that they are available in the standard filter fields - I know this is not what you're asking but this is what I have done in the past.

No, this may need the customization of the request page.

Yes but I don't think going for customisation for this part would be a good Idea. Instead adding that field in the page would be a better Idea.

List pages do not have a request page

Thanks all - looks like the only solution then is to set the field we want to use as the primary filter as the first column in the list, then every time click on "Add" to add the second field to the Advanced Filter. The Quick Filter is not helpful in this particular process, nor is saving a view. We need the filters to be blank so a value can be scanned into them.
