NAV 2016 Workflow: How to create a notification when a request is approved?

Hi all,
I am using the workflow template to restrict posting in a specific journal name in the general journal.
The approving user will receive a notification when a user requests to post, but the user will not be notified when this request is approved.
I have been able to send a mail when this request is approved, however only to a fixed user (not neccesarily the one who requested in the first place).
Can anyone tell me how to set this up?
(I have not supplied any screenshots as my workflow templates are in Danish).

Unfortunately this is not possible via setup in standard NAV.5

You need to tick the "Approval Administrator" option for the user who is an approver for all the others. Once you do this then he can "Send Approval Request" and this will automatically approve the journal.5

Thanks for the reply.
Is it then possible to exempt a user from this approval flow?
I ask because I only have one user who is an approver for all others, which works fine.
However, he cannot post in the journal himself as he cannot be setup as his own approver.
Does he really need to have a seperate user set up as his approver?
The only way he can post in the journal now is if someone else request permission, which he then approves. This seems kinda silly when he is an approver?
