In our Classic Client version of NAV 2009 the icon beside all phone number fields is a phone. When clicking, it runs a wizard that autodials the phone no. (We have changed the TAPIManagement Codeunit (5053) to dial out using Telepo)
In our 2009 RTC version the icon is 'unusual' (i.e. not on the list of available icons) and this icon is not active (See attached file) even though it has the field property ExtendedDatatype <Phone No.>
How do we make the icon 'active' so that the users can click on it to dial the same way they can in Classic?
We know that the functionality to make a phone call works in RTC as we can make it happen by running our wizard via the Interaction Template.
