Post Assemble Order

Hello,

NAV 2016

I have a Sales Order and linked to it Assembly order. I can't find any information - how to post the assembly order? The button 'Post' isn't available. When I try to post from the list - it says to me, that the assembly order is linked to the Sales Order.

The Sales Order won't post with message 'There's nothing to Post'. With the debugger I found out that it has linked Assembly Orders. So, I'm missing some steps in this flow.

If it's an "Assemble-to-Order" (which it sounds like it is) then you just post the Sales Order.

If you're getting a "Nothing to Post" error then this is because you have not set the "Qty. to Ship" on any of the sales order lines.

Thanks. I'm sorry I forgot to answer. I had Qty to Ship and Qty. to Invoice. The problem was in one Assemble order. For some reason it was created by the user for the Item (I assume it was a typo), which didn't have any assemble BOM. After deleting value in the Qty. to Assemble for this Item in SO, the SO was able to Post.
