* Dynamics 365 financials (or business edition): it has the nav kernel (financial module) and some of other typical nav modules like sales,purchase,Marketing and others
* dynamics 365 enterprise edition: developed on Base of ax, contains many modules incl. Production
Both can only be extended by the new extension technology.
