Hello everybody,
I tried to install Microsoft SQL Server for Navision Attain 3.60 (client/server)...these are my steps:
Server side:
-install XP
-install SQL Server 2000
-extended stored procedure xp_ndo_enumusersids
-grant execute permission for public user for this procedure
-install NA Client 3.60
-upload my own licence on the server
-create a new database through NA on SQL Server 2000
-restore database.fbk into a new database
-create a new company

Client side
-install XP
-install NA Client 3.60

Can anybody tell me did I forget somthing in my steps :-k

Tnx,
Layla

Is it working or you have problem? 8)

If it is working, you are doing right...

If there is problem, it can be because:

    - you are not using latest SP for MS SQL
    - you are not using latest HF for Navision client
    - you select wrong Collation when you created new DB...
    - you restored database.fbk created from some real database, without checking date values (using migration toolkit)

    etc.

But it is only things, which can be reason of some problem. But I do not know, because I have no details...

    Tnx Kine,

I just want to be sure if my steps are good, before I started to install...but now, I can tell that complete installation was successfull with little problem with collation, but I "fixed" it (my mistake) :) Thank you very much for your reply....bye..
