Hello,
How to apply the Open Item Entries to Close the Inventory Periods. There are only 2 Item Ledger Entries for an Item. first is Shipment & Second is Sales Return.
This is an Non-Stock Item. on 7th Nov we made a Shipment to this Item of 10 Qty so Inventory become -10. Next day there was a sales return of 10 qty. but both are open now and not applied to each other. I tried using application worksheet also but to no sucess. Any help on this please.

When you say non-stock, I assume you mean the item was created from a non-stock item. Are you sure both entries are for the same Location Code & Variant Code? Also, if use Item Tracking they should also be for the same Lot No and Serial No.0

Hello, Yes they have same Location. We are not using Variant and Item tracking.0

Can you show the fields in the 2 Item Ledger entries, this will help us to identify why they are not being applied against each other.0
