How can you search for the sign & in for example Customer name

Schollin_01Schollin_01 Member Posts: 14
Hi, I wonder if someone knows if there is some kind om workaround when it comes to searching for the sign & in for example Customer name in NAV.

As I understand it, the sign & is a reserved sign so I understand why.
Anyone who knows?

Best regards
Karin

See the following link for special symbols that can be used in filters...

Yes I know, basically all the special symbols in the link I sent have a special meaning/function during filtering and so would need be be enclosed in '' in the same way as with the & sign if you wanted to search for data containing those symbols.

Near the top (in the "important" box) it also states..
There may be instances where field values contain these symbols and you want to filter on them. To do this, you must include the filter expression that contains the symbol in quotation marks ('').
