See if you just want to Import some Data from excel to a particular table then Rapidstart you can use, if there's some manipulation needed then you can Import .csv from XMLPORT or else you can use Report to Import Excel if it's up to a level customised and needed a level more data calculation but you need to write more codes to use report.
