NAV 2016 RTC Error on some pages

Hi everyone.

We're just upgraded a Customer's NAV 2009 SP1 to NAV 2016, and we have founded a very strange error that avoids some users to use properly the application.

First off all, let me explain that the Customer works in a Remote Desktop Server, with two different servers, one with the SQL Server 2008 R2 (yes, i know that it's not the minimum required by MS, but it works), the other Server, works as Terminal Server for every user in the company. Both servers runs a Windows Server 2012 R2, with all updates.

We are using the Spanish version of MS NAV 2016.

The problems comes when some users, tries to open some pages on NAV 2016 RTC, always working on Remote Desktop, encounter a fatal error on the application that causes it to close.

By example, it occurs every time that users try to open an existing Journal, or when they try to change the Language. Just after opening the proper Page, the application shows a red mark around the drop-down field, and then, appears the error. See the Screenshot attached.

The error information provided, and also registered on the Event viewer is:

One of the worst part of this problem, is that only 3 users from the 18 that this company have, already got this errors. But, the most annoying part, is that the sames users, doesn't get that error if they log on to the same Remote Desktop Server from a different computer.

For example:
  • Working from a Windows 10 Laptop, and using the Remote Desktop client, i Log on with the user: "USER1", and I'm getting the error.
  • If I log on from the same computer, with the same "USER1" through the Remote Desktop Connection Manager, it works.
  • If I log on from a Windows XP desktop computer, using the same "USER1", i get the error
  • but connecting from others Windows XP computers, always with the same user, i don't get the error.

Does anyone have founded this error? Does anyone any idea of what could we do?

Thanks in advance.
