NAV 2015 objects/codes on NAV 2016

Hi,

we want to implement our add-on onto a system which is currently running on NAV 2015. but our addon is based on nav 2016 and publisher / subscriber model. can we make only technical upgrade to nav 2016 and use nav 2015 objects ? we can not make whole upgrade to nav 2016 due to existing addons in the system can not bu run in nav 2016 yet.

anyone made this kind of technical upgrade before?

we did it once - you will have to update some NAV 2015 objects and add some of the new 2016 objects because the executable expects and uses them

thank you David. It is good to hear that it will work.

do you remember which objects needs to be updated / created? I am asking this question since NAV 2016 service may not give exact error source in the event viewer after upgrade.

we did it once - you will have to update some NAV 2015 objects and add some of the new 2016 objects because the executable expects and uses them
