Serialized Items on job Journal

Hi Guys,
I am trying to create job journal line with serialized item of usage type but i coulnd't see a place to put the serial number.
There is field call serial number on journal line, even though if i fill the serial number it does not post, It asks for serail number.
Can anyone know how create usage job journal for serializesd item and post it.
