Can i connect with an external web service but not using dll automation?

Hi everybody,

I need to connect with an external web service but i can´t use dll. Is there another way to connect with the web service using C/AL Code or Power Shell or something like this?

Oops posted a couple of links initially but they related to consuming NAV services so removed them. I agree with the above though, I have used the SOAP codeunit in 2016 to call other web services.
