Switching from "one username for all"

Hello!

I have a propably simple question:
At the moment, everyone is logging in with the same username/password.
I now need to change this, so that each one is logging in with a custom username.
May it cause problems if I create all the usernames and delete the one they are using right now? For example, can it break functions working with usernames?
Any good/bad experiences?

Thanks in advance,
Steffen

a Safe way to go about this is as follows:

    1. Create a SUPER user Account for the administrator (If you Do not have one Yet) and Test it to be sure that you did it the right way

    2. Create The NEW login USERIDs

    3. Assign Appropriate ROLES to each USERID

    4. Test ALL NEwly Created USERIDs

    5. Ask EVERYONE to Log Out of Navision and Log back in with their RESPECTIVE NEW USERIDs

    6. REMOVE all roles Assigned to the GENERAL USERID so that it has no Access Rights to the System anymore.

You can disable the old username by entering some old Expiration date... I recommand to not delete this account, there are connection to this record...

I think you have a severe security problem, if you only change the expiry date. Please change the password too!
