Mobile Solution for iOS (Tablet and handheld) with barcode scanning (1D and 2D) for NAV 2016

Currently we are searching for a mobile client for a warehouse solution. It is planned to use QR codes and possibly 1D barcodes. The goods receipt department is planned to use tablets (iPad) for the whole quality check. The pickers are planned to use iPods. (Both of course in rugged cases)
Question is now if the standard mobile client can be combined with external scanning programs or if there are other mobile client solutions that are highly customizable. We also want to have the possibility to take und upload pictures with the devices. I already found the MobileNAV solution. Does anyone has got experience with it?
