can we create a warehouse shipment document only posting from sales order ?

Hi,
I think you are looking for automatically create whse. shipment when a sales order is posted.

Two Things -
1. There is nothing like this on standard NAV. You can customize it but read second point.
2. If you plan to customize it then the approach is -

1> You need to create Whse. Shipment with Certain condition check about Type of Line and the Location that is selected.

2> You need to post whse. Shipment which automatically ship the sales order at back end.

But as per business process these are activities by two different department (Users) -
1. Sales Order Operator create the sales order and release it.
2. Whse. Operator create the warehouse shipment and pull the lines from release sales order.

So i am not sure why you want to customize the process.
