Create Warehouse shipment automatically - 2016

Hi,

Its been indicated to me that NAV will create warehouse shipments automatically on release of a sales order given the correct warehouse config. However, the furthest I can take this is for the Warehouse Request table to be populated when the user releases the order and then they can select Actions -> Create Whse. Shipment to create the warehouse shipment. Does anyone know if there is a config for this in NAV.

BTW, I am able to modify the system to create the warehouse shipment automatically if it there is no config for this.

Hi, there is no option for this in standard NAV. As you have already discovered, it will create the whse request but not the whse shipment.
