nav4 modify rec in ondelete trigger

Hello,
My goal is: ondelete trigger modify some rec field (not key) and continue to delete it.
Reason: to log deleted record throw after delete trigger in sql.
If I add some code in ondelete trigger, all modifications are ignored without error raising.

Modifying a field in Rec during the OnDelete trigger will have no effect in SQL, since that change is never sent to the database server (that would require a MODIFY - don't do that from OnDelete of the same record).
