Updating Navision Database from Msft Access

Hi there,

Below is the scenario...

I have existing tables and forms in Microsoft Access. Whenever the user modifies a field in a particular table, I want to transfer that data over to Navision to create a new journal line.

This is relatively new to me and base on my research findings, it is possible to this by using ODBC but it's not really reccomended. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I've also heard that you can use VBA as a solution. However it has been rather difficult for me to find any references on this.

If anyone knows of a better solution or where I can get more information on ODBC and VBA to integrate Msft Access to Navision that would be great.. Thanks!!
