POWER BI and Nav2009 SP1 Classic Client

I'm running Nav2009 SP1 Classic Client and wanted to connect with POWER BI as said in https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-content-pack-microsoft-dynamics-nav/

I found this article

but think it's only suitable for role tailored client

Any experiences about this?

Hi,

You can use Power BI with any version that have ODATA web services, starting from NAV 2009.

But you cannot use the Navision Content Pack which comes by default in POWER BI as most of the web services that is using is based on Queries, which are not part of 2009.

I think you can connect but you need to create your Webservices and in NAV 2009 Version only options is page webservice.
