Mobile devices+ barcode scanner vs Hand computer with barcode scanner

in NAV Three Tier
Hi- We are running NAV2015 but will this summer upgrade to NAV2016. We need a mobile scanner-solution for our in fast pace growing warehouse. Do you got any recommendations?
Is it worth waiting for the upgrade to NAV2016 and go for smartphone/tablet + barcode scanner OR go för a mobile/hand computer with scanner solution?

    Just do exe upgrade and get all nav 16 features. don't need to do full upgrade.

    Hi.
    We use Motorola Data Terminals and Android devices with bluetooth ring barcode scanners. The custom warehouse solution based on HTML5 standarts and specific features of Motorala Enterpise Browser for more warehouse employees productivity. We use SQL to fast retreive data, SQL and NamedPipes (yes! Nav 5.0) for data modification. Forms and dialog routines (scan the barcode, enter qty, scan the bin->scan the barcode) can be defined in JSON format.
    Looking for part-time work.
    Nav, T-SQL.
