Declare option field as primary key.

Can I declare an option field as a primary key in a table?? If so then can I modify this field by using RENAME() function??

Always have a look on some standard tables whenever you stuck on some questions like this. You might have seen Sales Header and Purchase Header Tables. There you would have seen Document Type as a part of Primary key and which is a Option type field, so here you have the answer of your first question.
