If I understand the following correctly, "Post Inventory Cost to G/L" must be run again after you have run ACIE if you want your G/L entries to consider the adjusted item cost - ACIE will however update the G/L entries automatically if you have activated "Automatic Cost Posting" in the inventory setup...
The batch job does not update the general ledger automatically unless the you have selected Automatic Cost Posting in the inventory setup. To update the general ledger manually, you must run the Post Inventory Cost to G/L batch job.
