Try ADCS can not connect in in hyperterminal

We are testing out ADCS. Wel i should say i want to test ADCS. The client, server,nas, vt100 are running. In the manual it says without a scanner "you can test the connection in hyperterminal with 192.168.0.10:23"

We cannot connect. On port 23 there is nothing running. Could somebody help this beginner.

Are you using some firewall on the server machine?

No checked it, should some service be running on port 23 ?

Port 23 must be the ADCS service. If you set another port, you must use this port... Port 23 is standard port for telnet service...

You should check with regedit that the TCP Port set for the VT100Plugin/Symbol1 is set at 23, and not at 6666 (the default value). If not, you can either change the port of the Hyperterminal to 6666, or change the TCP Port, and restart the services.

Please let us know if you succeed. I have connected the Hyperterminal, but nothing happens.

Someone else at the office got it working. it was on 6666.
