Why, Oh Why is my No. Series resetting to 000001 after posting Journal (General Journal Batch)

No. Series setup for individual users to be used on their own Batch Journals in General Journal.
I have a feeling that i cannot see the wood for the trees.

Hi. First of all, you should ideally have a separate section of the journal for each user. That way you can assign a different no. series for each of their transaction journals. Also you can assign a "Posting No. Series" for the transaction type which is the series that will show on the transaction ledger.
Aside from this, you may want to check how you have setup the no. series. Make sure you have left blank (or put in a large number) in the "Ending No." field, and make sure "Increment By No." is set to 1. Also make sure that "Default Nos." is marked or activated.
