Page Editable property is not rational

Hi

I was customizing a page to make it non-editable. Although the fields in the page were not editable, the Note still allowed the user to delete it. They could not create new Notes but the user could delete existing ones.

Does anyone have any idea the rational behind this design of not allowing the creation of new notes but allowing deletion of Notes.

Thank you,

Check out page properties InsertAllowed, ModifyAllowed and DeleteAllowed.
Setting DeleteAllowed to NO schould do the trick.

Changed the InsertAllowed, ModifiedAllowed and DeleteAllowed to FALSE but it did not change a thing. I also tried to diable it from the FactBoxArea System but setting the Notes Properties to Editable or Enabled did not change a thing. The ability to delete the Note is still possible.
  • This is a bug. You can not change the actions of the note factbox, because it is a systemPart. Please open a Microsoft call and let the fix it. I guess, it can be fixed with one of the next cumulative updates!
