How to upload openning balance with lot

Hi Sir/Ma'am,

Ive been searching google and youtube on how to upload beginning balance with lot number but I can't find a step by step procedure.

What I already tried is, upload the item master in item journal line, that includes quantity and cost, then click on item tracking lines, then assign lot number, but once im done encoding item tracking lines for all items, it gives me an error regarding quantity to handle. How can i encode the lot properly, and what if i have a specific lot number and not the auto generated one.
