The Impact of the dimension

My name is Dendy.
I have some probelm.In the Production Order can we defined as rework, trial, repack besides the regular production order by using the dimension.......
If, we can use it, how I can define it?
after that where I can see the impact the use of the dimension?

Hi Dendy,

First of all, Welcome to the Forum.
I think, you have two options, as below:
1. You will have to define a global dimension as e.g. "Purpose" and give dimension values - Normal, Rework, Trial, Repack, etc. Then only you can post Prod. Orders dimension-wise and see its effects by using dimension-wise grouping in reports. But, in the way, you are using one Global dimension, which is not recommended.

2. Better, you create different No. Series for each (Rework, Trial, Repack, etc.), use relationships and create different No.'s for each type of Prod. Order. All types of orders will be traceable this way.
