Explode a BOM on warehouse receipt

We are about to start purchasing a kit of parts, this kit consists of 4 parts which will be put-away into the warehouse in different locations, ultimately the individual parts will all find their way onto a Production Order.
Is there a standard way to have a BOM on a purchase order then explode it at the receipt or put-away stage without any developments?
