Hi World,
is there any chance to run an batch-file without opening the dos-box on the screen?
I have tried shell, hyperlink and the "'Microsoft Shell Controls And Automation'.Shell" Automation-Controller, all with the same results, i can't hide the dos-box.
Does anyone have any Idea how to force the appering of the Dos-Box?
My Problem is i have to check if several files exist via ftp every few seconds causing a wild screen with opening and closing dos-boxes.
Additionaly if the users click on the dos-box, this will pause the batchfile
until next keypress.
Thanx for reading, more thanx for a solution

Carsten

Maybe there exists any ocx-control which makes ftp-transfer with no output to screen?
CuteFtp provides an ocx

It is shareware with a 30-day trial period.

which allows you to map connections via internet or ftp to folders on Novell, Windows or Linux servers as a drive in the explorer. These can then be used like a normal drive.
