Web and Tablet Client 2016

Has anyone come across this, and possibly a solution. On Nav 2016 web, and universal app, the notifications do not show on the home page? Am I doing something stupid? or is this a shortcoming of the non windows client

Microsoft Dynamics NAV Web client supports Notes and RecordLinks system parts, but not Outlook and MyNotes.
