NAS in windows service

We received the below error message in the event viewer while starting the NAS in windows service. Version - Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2
A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Application Server for Microsoft Dynamics NAV

When a service is starting, it has to communicate with the service controller in 30 seconds time (standard), if it doesn't, the service controller considers the service failed and kills it. I've had the same problem with the service tier of NAV2009R2. I fixed it in this way: You have to increase the time before the service controller kills a service. I upped it to 2 minutes to be sure.
