Does NAV 2009R2 web-service consume Licence?

Does Dynamics Nav Web Service consume license? Suppose I have a license file with 10 end
users. Users connect to database using RTC, users also use Web-service for third party software integration. How many users will be able to connect to the database? 9 or 10?

A license is a legal obligation. Not a technical restriction. Whether the system tracks the usage or not, you still need to license every connection. So the answer to your question is "yes, Web Services does consume a license". The next question would be "which is the best license to use". For that I'll refer you to your NAV partner. As they would know your situation best.

Please read the top of Page 4 of the following link to understand the difference between Full and Limited users. A full user is considered a fully licensed user which you have have 10 of.

Thank you fvery much or the provided link, but it refers to NAV 2015 and I am not sure that the same principle applies to NAV 2009. I tried to find similar document for NAV 2009 but unfortenately I didn't find it.
