Nav Server 2016 core management

Hi, I remember that some time ago i read something about the nav server being able to manage just one core...i mean, when stressed, NAV server is able to only reach 50% CPU usage on a 2 core machine.
Do I remember correctly? if so, is it still true for nav 2016?

That was NAV 2009. The NAV Server (NST) has been 64 bit and multi-core able since NAV 2013. The NST can be scaled up or out. Scaling up means to add resources (cpu/memory) to the 1 computer. Scaling out refers to adding multiple servers and spreading the load.

1 remark: scaling out is not automatic. You can create multiple service tiers but they won't be used until you let users point to the different service tiers. They do not balance themselves automatically.
