What does SQL Database components installs?

Hi all.
As it says in title, I'm curious what does sql database components option installs (if Demo database is not checked as an option)?
If I disable sql database component I can get NAV server installed without checking of accessible SQL server so I will not get SQL express installed (if no other SQL available). With option checked, setup firsts check if SQL is available and if not, installs SQL express. Is there something more that has been installed with this option?
