we have a strange problem with one of our customers. They are using Windows Logins and he is a normal User AD\Userxyz. But starting NAV he logs in as AD\Administrator. How this can happen?
You can check the sid of the user table and compare it with the active directory. They must be a match with the wrong ad user. I would recommend to delete the specific user of dynamics nav and insert the person again.
If this doesn't help, then create a new ad user and try it with the same rights.
Thanks to this post, we found that there were credentials for the server in the Credential Manager. When we removed these, the user logged on to NAV with their own Windows account.
