NAS and Multiple Queues

I am running 1 instance of NAS. (3.7)

It is recieveing from 3 Queues --- using different codeunits, running as single instances to manage the events. The queues are transactional.

It also runs a scheduler for overnight batch jobs.

From time to time it stops working. However it does not crash, so I cannot set it to restart. It shows as running and the process takes up about 30% of the CPU. So we have to manually re-start.

It is not becasue the scheduled jobs are running, and as we re-start it is not an issue with the last message as this now progresses correctly.

Has anyone elso come across this.

You say "it is not an issue with the last message" but i think it can be. The system consumes the message before processing it, so, the message in the queue, when you restart the service, it's not the same of the error.

Thats interesting, I though t that it would roll back the last message when I stopped the NAS. I will look into that further. Thank you
