Create factbox with Bill of materials (BOM) and stock

On the items page and overview page we want to add a factbox which contains the Bill Of Materials (BOM) of a selected item.
Of every BOM component it shoud display 3 colums: the Item No., the inventory and the availible inventory.
The bom componentes should be clickable and link to the item page of this component.
Does anyone have an idea how to bouild this querry and page?
