Stockout Warning causing RUNMODAL Error

Database version: NAV 2013
When the Stockout Warning checked on the Sales & Receivable setup I get a RunModal error message when entering Quantity in Sales Lines for Items that are out of stock. The Debugger stops at CodeUnit 312 (Cust-Check Cr. Limit). I did add a Commit line of code before calling the RUNMODAL line and that took away the error but Quantity on sales line didn't get updated meaning the value I entered in the Sales Line didn't stay there. Any ideas?
