End User Report Writer for non technical please

Hi,

I'm looking for a short list of report writers that would be suitable for non - technical end users. The type of reports would be mainly listing and summarizing values by group, table joins would be necessary. The user in question is not particularly comfortable with Excel, so I'm not sure if Jet would do the job.

They haven't taken to SSRS, something like the old Paradox for Windows (now defunct) report writer would be up their street. Visual table joins and groups/sums by pointing and clicking etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated?

If they are on NAV2015, there is a free download for Jet reporting for Word.

Unfortunately, they are on 2009 R2 (for the time being). I'll take a look at that download though as we have clients on 2015.
