How to assign or hide menu userwise (user specific) in 2013R2 which we were handling througn navigate pane designer. Suppose there is a HR menu and I want to assign a particular user and want hide it from rest of the user.
For RTC Client the way to assign menu have been changed.
1. You need to create Role Center Page if Standard Role Center Page does not Fulfill your requirement. (If required you can customized Standard Role Center Page).
For Assigning Role Center Page to User you need to assign it in User Personalization Page.
2. Once the Role Center Page is assigned to all users in department you can remove the Department Button via Configuration Mode.
The article above refers for NAV 2013, for NAV 2013 R2
1. you don't need to assign OWNER ID to profile.2
2. You can change the Profile in configuration mode in Navision Service Tier and it will automatically apply to all client machines where you have assigned Role Center Page.
** Till NAV 2013 you need change configuration mode in every client machine.
Hope this clear the issue, let me know if any issues.
