I'am on Nav 2009 R2.
I have a problem with the Outlook plugin. For all tables already set it works well (contact, salesperson...)..
I wanted to set the employee table (id 5200) like this one:
The synchronization to outlook show blanks lines. Number of records are good but fields are empty.
However, if I sync to Nav, registration is inserted or modified. But as soon as I reload Nav since he returned empty.
I feel that the field mapping is not working well for the plugin.
Have you ever encountered the problem?

yes we have encountered this, and all kinds of problems. That's why we have spent a lot of time to re-develop the synchronisation.
Our solution work from within NAV, so as a developer, you can easily make changes and debug your changes.

And in relation to your issue: we have developped a buffer table that you can fill with records from all tables in NAV, adding your own business rules, so this won;t be an issue in our solution.
