Checkboxes in list on worksheet - page close

Ok this is a strange (and really annoying one)...
NAV 2015 (cu4)
I have a page of type Worksheet (but same happens with a list in edit mode) that has a number of columns which are checkboxes (Boolean fields). If a user accidentally clicks in the space between two checkbox columns the page closes with a 'LookupOK'
obviously this is not great UI for the user.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour and, better still, have a solution?
