I am upgrading a clients test system from v2009 to v2013 R2. I have upgraded to the base 2013R2 and it works fine. However when I then apply CU6 the conversion works but then when I try to start the service it crashes. Can anyone shed any light on this I would appreciate it very much as I need to finish this today, thanks.

    Hi,

It looks to me like you did not apply the CU6 on the Server files.
In order for CU6 to work you have to copy all files for RTC client, NAV Server Service (NST) over existing files and replace them.
You can check the build number by selecting any *.exe file, right click on the file go to properties.
In a new window go to the tab Details.
The builder number should be visible on this tab.

    I hope this helps.
    Thanks.
