Is there a maximum companies you can/or should create in NAV? We are up to 100 companies now. I'm seeing some interesting behavior on the database side and I'm wondering if users will begin to have problems on their side.
There no real predefined or recommended maximum. Has a lot to do with various factors such as database size, transaction types and volume, user count, and underlying platforms. You don't mention specifics, but if you're starting to see situations that look like hitting limits, you might give some thought to multi-tenant. That would allow you to spread the load over multiple databases and even multiple servers.
