PLLP translation issue

Hi All,

I have the following problem with translations from W1 to the other language version (not supported by Microsoft). The problem continues in versions 7.0, 7.1 and now in 8.0. I went carefully through the translation tool white papers and made all the necessary tasks including manual registration root assemblies with strong name key token in the Add-ins table 2000000069.
However I've noticed that some small part of functionality is not translated. It regards basically pages and the Home Tab's ribbon promoted actiongroups captions.
Example: Page 16 - Chart of Accounts. All captions get translated except: "Functions", "Account", "Balance", "Report", "Send To". Interesting is however that if one goes to other tab, e.g. Actions - then the caption "Functions" is translated properly.

Have you faced such a problem before?

KR

Konrad.

The problem seems to be somehow to role center profiles related. E.g. once I changed the name of the ORDER PROCESSOR profile in Table 2000000072 to anything else, then all not translated captions in all pages (added automatically by the application) disappeared at all. Reffering to the example from my previous post reg. Page 16 - "Functions", "Account", "Balance", "Report", "Send To" dissappeared. Restoring orignal name to the role ORDER PROCESSOR - restores also the appearance of all not translated captions. I do not know how to handle that... :(

You have translated the client, but these captions are part of the business logic defined in the objects, and in the profiles. Some pages have defined the PromotedActionCategoriesML property.

See https://navscripts.codeplex.com/documentation for powershell scripts to solve the profile problems (described here: http://dynamicsuser.net/blogs/kine/arch ... dness.aspx )
